About
Jennie Evenson has received support as a writer-in-residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and attended Bread Loaf, Tin House, the Kenyon Review Workshop. She holds both a PhD in Renaissance Literature from the University of Michigan and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. As a screenwriter in LA, she worked as a consultant at Netflix for five years. She has work in The Pinch, Ninth Letter, Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet, Brevity, and elsewhere, and she recently acted as an assistant flash fiction editor for CRAFT. She lives on the West Coast with her loved ones and a Cairn terrier who looks like Toto. Find her on Instagram @jennie_evenson. She/her.
